Hello,

My name is Minna Pikkarainen and I got my first saluki in 2004!
I have owned before two whippets; Jakias White Lord “Windy”
and Jakias One Way Ticket “Sunny”, also living with sighthound since 1984.

Sighthound has some kind of “silent wisdom” in personality, at the same athletic appearance with hunting instinct.

Saluki has been more multidimensional with its beauty and personality character.
Saluki is a fine breed with whom you can go to dog shows, and train lure coursing and a track racing.

It is not difficult to imagine why salukis can be so fascinating and charming. Like it is said in the breed standard -  general appearance: The whole appearance of this breed should give an impression of grace and symmetry and of great speed and endurance coupled with strength and activity.
